ISLETON, Calif. — A man died Thursday after his car crashed into the Sacramento River.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the vehicle went into the river north of Isleton at the intersection of Andrus Island and Isleton roads around 11 a.m.
CHP says the body of man in his 40s was recovered from the river.
It's unknown if weather was a factor in the crash and there's no indication anyone else was in the vehicle.
