Power outages impact customers in El Dorado, Nevada and Placer counties

Dangerous conditions continue in the Sierra today and a Blizzard Warning is in effect for areas in the Sierra above 6,500 feet until midnight.

PLACER COUNTY, Calif — Hundreds of residents in the northern parts of California are without power Sunday in El Dorado, Nevada and Placer counties as a winter storm sweeps the Sierra bringing blizzard conditions.

Moderate to heavy snow and strong winds mean blizzard conditions continue through Sunday.

Here's the latest power outage numbers from Pacific Gas and Electric as of 11 a.m. Sunday.

El Dorado County

According to the Pacific Gas and Electric outage map, about 1,024 customers in El Dorado County are without power. All of them are located in unincorporated El Dorado County.

Nevada County

According to the Pacific Gas and Electric outage map, about 1,123 customers in Nevada County are without power. All of them are located in unincorporated Nevada County.

Placer County

According to the Pacific Gas and Electric outage map, about 339 customers in Placer County are without power. All of them are in unincorporated Placer County.
