Lt. Kenny Park with the Vallejo Police Department held a press conference Tuesday in regard to a woman who was possibly kidnapped for ransom.
Park said police are doing everything they can to find 30-year-old Denise Huskins who reportedly was taken against her will Monday morning, according to a witness.
Police said that at 1:55 p.m. Monday, a 30-year-old man contacted Vallejo police with a report of a possible abduction for ransom which reportedly happened in the 500 block of Kirkland Avenue. The man told police that Huskins was forcibly taken against her will at the location sometime early Monday morning.
Police would not comment on why he waited several hours to contact them. Park said the man is not in custody, but added that they are working with him to "piece the puzzle together."
The connection between Huskins and the man was not made clear.

Park said investigators were extremely concerned about Huskins' well-being. They said they were treating the case as a kidnapping for ransom. They would not disclose the details of the ransom made for her, citing the active investigation.
Huskins was described as approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and 150 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.
Huskins' car, a 2000 Toyota Camry, was located at an undisclosed location. Police detectives are investigating and also requested assistance from the FBI.
