Prosecutors say he stabbed her while they were driving on Highway 99 and then he hit her with the car.

CERES, Calif. — A Ceres man pleaded guilty to first-degree murder this week after stabbing his girlfriend to death in February.

According to the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office, 33-year-old Ruben Olvera will be sentenced Nov. 19.
