Con Azucar Café to open at site of former K Street Starbucks in Sacramento

The site is opening in about three months at 630 K Street, Suite 100.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A new coffee shop will be opening at the former site of the Starbucks on Sacramento's K Street.

Ethan Conrad Properties announced a new lease with Con Azucar Café, described as a Bay Area favorite with a menu celebrating Mexican flavors and artisanal coffee.

"We are excited to support the vision of Con Azucar Café," said Ethan Conrad, CEO at Ethan Conrad Properties. "This café will bring a fresh and vibrant addition to our K Street building, enhancing Downtown Sacramento’s food and beverage scene with something truly distinctive for our community."

Con Azucar Café has sites in San Jose, Bakersfield and Omaha, Nebraska. This will be their first site in Sacramento.

"We have developed some exciting marketing strategies that will build strong anticipation, not only among our existing customers but also within the wider community that has yet to discover us," said Alan Jimenez, Owner of Con Azucar Café.
