CALIFORNIA, USA — Though California gas prices have dropped in recent weeks, other costs are still rising and people are looking to save some money where they can.
The average cost per gallon of gas a week ago was $5.002, now it's $4.888 in California, according to AAA.
Costco is often known for having less expensive gas compared to some other retailers, but prices can differ slightly between locations and if you're near a few different Costco locations choosing one over another could save you some money.
The gas prices listed below are as of June 12, 2024, according to Costco's website. Prices are updated frequently and may not be the exact price at the pump.
In Sacramento County, the best prices are at the Cal Expo (Sacramento) Warehouse, Elk Grove Warehouse and Sacramento Warehouse at $4.399 for a gallon of regular gas. In San Joaquin County, the best price is at the Manteca Warehouse and Tracy Warehouse at $4.299 for a gallon of regular gas.
