SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Dad's Kitchen announced Wednesday afternoon it's Land Park location would be closing near the end of July.
The restaurant was notably featured in an episode of Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, specifically for their Hot Blonde sandwich with pepper plant sauce.
On its Facebook page, the restaurant announced its last day in Land Park will be July 28. It's not clear why the restaurant is closing after more than a decade in the area.
"The last two weeks will be a celebration of our long term employees, our valued patrons and the energy that was built in this fun and funky space," Dad's Kitchen said. "We hope you join us in raising a glass, jamming out to some live music and giving hugs and high fives for being a great chapter in Land Park history."
The restaurant says it intends to release a celebration schedule as it approaches its last day.
