Davis police looking for man caught on camera ripping down pride flag

Police are investigating it as a criminal act and need help identifying the suspect.

DAVIS, Calif. — Davis police need your help identifying a man caught on camera ripping down a pride flag from someone’s house.

According to the Davis Police Department, it happened around 8 p.m. Saturday on the 1100 block of L Street.

Ring camera footage shows a man in a black sweatshirt and gray shorts go up to the front of the house and repeatedly tear a pride flag until it falls down off the home. He’s then seen running away and getting into a white SUV driven by someone else.

Police are investigating it as a criminal act and need help identifying the suspect.
