CALIFORNIA, USA — Davis police are asking people to be on the lookout after a series of indecent exposure and peeping cases over the last week that might be connected.
The suspect, a man around the age of 25 who is around 5’8” tall with a black beard and dark curly hair, approaches women as they’re walking on the sidewalk or in a parking lot.
He usually wears a hoodie and a black neck gaiter or ski mask.
Police say the suspect has interacted with women while exposing himself, and on two other occasions, a man with the same description was seen looking into bedroom windows of homes.
The cases have been primarily reported in the north Davis area near West Covell Boulevard; including F Street, Alvarado Avenue and Anderson Road. The most recent case happened near Acacia Lane.
Police believe the recent cases are connected to a series of cases that happened in the summer and fall of 2023 as the circumstances, locations and description of the suspect are similar.
Anyone with information can call the Davis Police Department at 530-747-5400.
