FBI offering up to $1,000 for ID of Davis bank robbery suspect

A Davis bank robbery on June 15 is catching the attention of the FBI.

DAVIS, Calif. — FBI officials recently announced they are offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a Davis bank robber.

After entering the bank with a black cloth face mask the evening of June 15, officials said the unidentified man gave a demand letter to the bank teller. He left the bank on foot after receiving an amount of money not disclosed by FBI officials.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man standing at 5'8" with a medium build and dark hair. He sported a goatee, a black baseball cap, hooded sweatshirt and pants with a white undershirt and Converse-imitation black and white shoes.

Davis police detectives are investigating the crime along with the FBI.
