EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. — One person died and two people were injured after a single-vehicle crash in El Dorado County on Monday.
The El Dorado County Fire Protection District said crews responded to reports of a crash just after 2 p.m. on Mormon Emigrant Trail. When crews arrived they found an overturned pickup truck by Park Creek Road near Pollock Pines.
One person was taken to Marshall Hospital, another was taken to UC Davis Medical Center. A third person died at the scene.
It's unclear how the crash happened. The crash is under investigation.
