SACRAMENTO, Calif — Sacramento-based alternative metal band Deftones are returning home next year to headline a show at the Golden 1 Center.
Deftones announced a 2025 North American tour Tuesday that includes a stop at the downtown Sacramento venue on Saturday, March 1. Sacramento is the third city on the 2025 tour.
The tour begins Feb. 25 in Portland and will head to Seattle on Feb. 27 before Deftones perform in the capital city. San Francisco and Inglewood are other California cities on the tour.
The Mars Volta and Fleshwater are billed as the opening acts for the tour, including at the Sacramento show.
Before Deftones go on the road, the band will host its fifth annual Dia De Los Deftones in San Diego on Nov. 2. In August, the band co-headlined a show with System of a Down at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
Tickets for the Golden 1 Center show go on sale Sept. 20 at 10 a.m.
