Deputies surround home after police chase from Fairfield

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office says the car chase began after a burglary suspect was spotted by Fairfield Police officers.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento County deputies have surrounded a home in South Sacramento following a police chase from Fairfield. 

According to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office, Fairfield Police found a burglary suspect Tuesday night, who later led police and California Highway Patrol officers in a car chase and entered a home on Steelman Circle near the intersection of Briggs Drive and Florin Road. 

The sheriff's office have detained two people, but there may be more suspects inside the house, the sheriff's office said.
