Deputy involved in crash in North Highlands

Officials said one deputy vehicle and one civilian vehicle were involved, but the resulting injuries were minor.

NORTH HIGHLANDS, Calif. — A Sacramento County Sheriff's Office deputy was involved in a crash that happened in North Highlands Monday evening.

Few details surrounding the collision have been released, but a spokesperson for the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said it was reported in the area of Elk Horn Boulevard and Walerga Road around 6 p.m.

Officials said one deputy vehicle and one civilian vehicle were involved, but it resulted in minor injuries.
