Sketch, photo released in shooting at deputy in El Dorado County

The man was described by the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office as white, in his 30s, about 6 feet 1-2 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 to 250 pounds. He had a shaved head and a goatee.

Last Friday, Oct. 17, a man fired upon an El Dorado County sheriff's deputy in Camino and escaped. The deputy was not injured.

The man was described by the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office as white, in his 30s, about 6 feet 1-2 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 to 250 pounds. He had a shaved head and a goatee. He was wearing a flannel shirt, blue pants and boots.

He fled on Cable Road in a white, single cab Dodge pick-up truck that didn't have a license plate.

The deputy stopped the man near Cable Road. According to the sheriff's office, there was a struggle and the man pulled a handgun on the deputy and fired it.

Law enforcement spent most of Friday looking for the man without success.
