ELK GROVE, Calif. — There's no opening date yet, but an Amazon Spokesperson told ABC10 an Amazon Fresh is coming to Elk Grove in the future.
"We can confirm we are bringing an Amazon Fresh store to Elk Grove, CA, and look forward to serving the community with high-quality grocery items at a great value," said spokesperson Griffin Buch.
Like its online website, Amazon Fresh stores aim to give shoppers millions of products available for fast delivery.
The Amazon-designed grocery store makes use of "Just Walk Out" technology that allows customers to skip the checkout lines. Amazon Fresh stores are already open in parts of Southern California, such as: Encino, Fullerton, Irvine, and more.
The debut date for Elk Grove is still something of a mystery ever since Amazon confirmed a store was heading to the Sacramento area back in January of 2022.
