ELK GROVE, Calif — Clear your calendar and prepare yourself for endless pasta, because Elk Grove's new Olive Garden is opening its doors in mid-March.
An Olive Garden spokesperson confirmed with ABC10 that the restaurant will officially open its Elk Grove location at 11 a.m. on Monday, Mar. 16.
The restaurant, known for Italian dishes, is located at Elk Grove Boulevard and Bruceville Road, the same shopping center anchored by Costco. The Elk Grove community caught a whiff of the project back in 2018 when the Ridge shopping center was cooking up leases for their buildings.
About a year and a half later, one of the biggest names in the center has finally wrapped up work on the building.
Wil Gagaza has been named General Manager of the Elk Grove location. When it opens, it'll have accommodations for more than 250 guests.
Olive Garden isn't the only name expected to open their doors for the Ridge shopping center in the coming months. In January, Buffalo Wild Wings confirmed they'll be opening their new restaurant in the shopping center in the third quarter of 2020.
Among the other locked-in tenants for the Elk Grove development are Pieology, Sourdough & Co., Great Clips, and SomiSomi.
