Pizza Bell in Elk Grove closing after 39 years of business due to increased costs

The owner of Pizza Bell said the increase in costs have forced them to close their decades old store.

ELK GROVE, Calif. — After decades of serving their community, Pizza Bell is closing its store on Elk Grove Boulevard.

The Elk Grove pizzeria posted the announcement to their Facebook page. In the message, the restaurant said the store will be closing April 28, 2024.

"We want to thank you for your support throughout the years, especially through the pandemic. We wish we could keep going for another 39 years, but unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we cannot," the restaurant said.

Pizza Bell owner Patty Cox told ABC10 over the phone that the cost of doing business has forced them to close.

She said, due to the increases in business costs, rent, insurance, utilities, labor and more, the store will be closing.
