CARMICHAEL, Calif. — A Carmichael man died after a tree fell on him, a spokesperson for Sacramento County said Monday.
The man, identified as 41-year-old Chad Ensey, died Sunday. The county said a tree fell on him and he died of blunt force injuries.
He was taken to Mercy San Juan Medical Center where he died, the county said.
No other information about the incident was available.
Another victim of Sunday's storm was a man who died in Yuba City after a tree fell on him. He was identified as 82-year-old David Gomes. Officers said the man was possibly on a ladder trying to clear the tree from his home.
