SOLANO COUNTY, Calif. — A man died in a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning in Solano County, the California Highway Patrol said.
Around 3:20 a.m., a vehicle was traveling southbound on Interstate 680, north of Marshview Road, at a high rate of speed, according to the CHP’s Solano area office.
The vehicle left the roadway and overturned; the solo occupant was trapped in the vehicle and died from his injuries, CHP said. Neither alcohol nor drugs are considered a factor in the crash, and it is still under investigation.
The #2 lane was blocked after the crash until it reportedly reopened around 6:40 a..m. Monday.
