STOCKTON, Calif. — A woman was injured by what appeared to be a falling bullet Thursday night in Stockton.
It happened around 9:15 p.m. on Weber Avenue in the city's Civic District.
The Stockton Police Department said in its nightly Watch Commander report for July 4 the 51-year-old was taken to a hospital with a "non-life-threatening wound."
Stockton police said in the report there isn't any description of the shooter.
On Friday afternoon the department told ABC10 that she was outside when the bullet hit her in the upper part of her arm.
