Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour in Sacramento is no more.
The Sacramento location closed abruptly Sunday night after re-opening in 2013, 23 years after it closed in 1990. The parlour was located at 1625 Watt Ave., just south of Arden Way.
On Monday afternoon, patrons who walked up to the door were greeted with a sign saying "Closed. We apologize for any inconvenience." According to an employee, the ice cream parlour closed due to increasing rent.
