SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A new restaurant dedicated to serving Indo-Fijian food recently opened on south Sacramento's Florin Road.
Summer Palace Cuisine held its grand opening in late January at the location previously occupied by I Furniture Warehouse. The furniture warehouse has since moved to a new location at 4720 Mack Rd.
"We are the only Fiji restaurant in Sacramento," said owner Chandra Singh. "Business has been good since we opened, a lot of great people here are wanting Fiji food."
When asked if he plans to open a second location, Singh said "one is good enough."
