GRIDLEY, Calif. — At least three homes caught fire in Butte County Saturday, according to officials.
Cal Fire says the fire is on Evan’s-Reimer Road in Gridley. It started around 4:30 p.m. with one building on fire which threatened other structures.
At least two more buildings then caught fire and firefighters from Butte and Sutter counties arrived on scene to help. While the fire has been mostly handled, crews will be in the area through the night to continue working it.
No injuries have been reported at this time and the cause is currently unknown.
