1 hospitalized, 5 displaced after overnight house fire in Turlock

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

TURLOCK, Calif. — One person is recovering at a trauma center and five people are displaced after a house fire early Tuesday morning in Turlock.

According to Turlock Fire Department, it happened around 12:30 a.m. at a home on the 4100 block of Ivory Lane.

Upon arrival, fire crews found heavy smoke and fire coming from the garage. The fire was under control within 30 minutes.

Turlock Fire says one person was taken to a trauma center and five occupants were displaced because of the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Anyone with information can call the Stanislaus County Fire Investigation Unit at 209-525-5537.
