FOLSOM, Calif. — A pedestrian was killed Monday after a crash on East Bidwell Street in Folsom.
Just after 5 p.m., a 67-year-old man in the road was hit by a vehicle between Orchard and Montrose drives, according to Det. Andrew Graham, a Folsom Police Department spokesman.
The crash was not a hit-and-run, Graham said. The driver stayed at the scene.
Graham said the crash and what caused it is being investigated by the department's major accident response team (MART). The MART is still speaking with witnesses.
Part of southbound East Bidwell Street was temporarily closed due to the accident.
