FOLSOM, Calif. — The Cliff House of Folsom is reportedly closed.

The longtime Folsom staple on Greenback Lane is closed permanently, according to a voice recording that plays when the establishment is called.

“Thank you for calling the Cliff House,” the message says. “We are now closed, permanently. Thank you for your support.”

It is unclear when the restaurant closed. ABC10 first called and heard the message Feb. 13.

Attempts to contact the owner and management were unsuccessful.

Cliff House posted to its Facebook page Dec. 27, 2023, advertising it would be hosting a DJ and dancing in celebration on New Year’s Eve. Its Facebook account was created in May 2011.
