Woodward said a FedEx truck was heading southbound but drifted into the northbound lanes and hit four cars, some of which were hit head on.
Eight people were involved in the crash, five of which were sent to the hospital, officials said. Those hospitalized include three adults and two children with injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
