Jake Browning's family treated to Joe Burrow's suite at Bengals game

“Burrow was nice to give us tickets,” Browning said. "It’s better than sitting outside. We’re from California and not used to the cold. Well, I am, but they’re not.”

CINCINNATI, Ohio — Folsom native Jake Browning led the Cincinnati Bengals to victory against the Indianapolis Colts 34-14.

Browning took over the starting quarterback position after Joe Burrow's season-ending wrist injury.

Perhaps even better than getting the win is having your friends and family there to see your success. That's exactly what happened at Sunday's game.

Burrow provided his suite at Paycor Stadium to Browning, who invited family and friends from California to watch the game.

“Burrow was nice to give us tickets,” Browning said. "It’s better than sitting outside. We’re from California and not used to the cold. Well, I am, but they’re not.”

With the win against the Colts, Browning keeps the Bengals (7-6) in the mix for a playoff spot. Browning threw two touchdown passes and completed 18 of 24 passes for 275 yards with an interception.

The Bengals host the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday at 10 a.m.
