FOLSOM, Calif. — Two people were injured in a crash near the Folsom Dam on Tuesday.
The crash happened at Folsom Lake Crossing near Gun Range Drive around 7:30 a.m., according to the Folsom Fire Department.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash and both drivers were taken to a hospital. They had "significant injuries," according to the fire department. They were the only people in the vehicles.
Folsom Lake Crossing was closed for several hours while officials investigated the crash, but has since reopened.
