FOLSOM, Calif. — The American flag is again hanging from the Rainbow Bridge in Folsom.
Folsom announced via social media Wednesday the flag was installed on the bridge, also known as Folsom Historic Truss Bridge, by the city’s public works department and Clark Verkler from Dokken Engineering.
Verkler serves as a volunteer to hang the flag annually, according to Chris Shepard, a city spokesman.
Every year, the flag goes up the week before Memorial Day, Shepard said. It is taken down after Veterans Day.
