FOLSOM, Calif. — Folsom foodies have another restaurant to add to their list of places to grab a bite.
Mantra is coming soon to Folsom. It's an eatery rooted in vegan and vegetarian delicacies from India, according to a social media announcement.
The new restaurant will be located at 1870 Prairie City Road, Suite 500.
“It was founded by a team of like-minded foodies, a group of friends who have always liked to eat, drink, and create excellent food together,” according to the restaurant's website. “Our hobby quickly led us to open this Vegan & Vegetarian restaurant, where people from all over the Sacramento region and beyond can meet to enjoy our unique dishes and comfortable atmosphere.”
Mantra comes from the operators of Sanskrit, another new-age Indian restaurant that opened in 2019. Sanskrit is also located in Folsom at 2776 E Bidwell Street, Suite 300.
The soon-to-be eatery will be offering a daily chef’s special, a soup of the day and dosa and idlis served all day. Dine-in or take-out will be available.
Mantra will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. with extended hours Friday and Saturday closing at 10 p.m. An opening date has not yet been released.
