FOLSOM, Calif. — A single-vehicle motorcycle accident involving an alleged DUI on Wednesday night in Folsom closed Greenback Lane in both directions, though the road has since reopened.
At approximately 10 p.m., a motorcycle reportedly hit the center divide of Greenback Lane near American River Canyon Drive, according to the Folsom Police Department.
Officers said they found the motorcyclist with serious injuries along Greenback Lane. Police provided him medical treatment until fire personnel arrived on scene.
He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive, according to law enforcement. Police said he was driving under the influence prior to the crash, and officers cited him for it.
