CALIFORNIA, USA — New Year’s Eve on Sunday will ring in 2024, and residents in the Folsom and Roseville areas have a wide variety of events to choose from.
Here are some those events happening on the last night of 2023:
Folsom
Powerhouse Pub’s 24th New Year’s Eve Bash
Powerhouse Pub and its five bars and three stages across Scarlet’s Specialty Saloon and Big Rob's Cigar & Hookah Cabana at 614 Sutter St. will welcome 2024 with multiple performers, 15 beers on tap, spirits, bottle service, a “mega balloon drop” and a “confetti catastrophe.”
Tickets are $40 and can be purchased at www.powerhousepub.com.
A pre-New Year’s Eve party will be held Saturday from 10 p.m. to 1:10 a.m.
Folsom Tap House Sports Bar & Grill
Folsom Tap House Sports Bar & Grill on Blue Ravine Road will host a New Year’s Eve celebration Sunday from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Tickets range from $5 to $500, according to Eventbrite.
Ice Skating
New Year’s Eve ice skating is available at the Folsom Historic District Ice Rink on Leidesdorff Street from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
BusyKids Play Town and Coffee Shop
The child-friendly annual “Noon Year’s Eve Party” will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at BusyKids Play Town and Coffee Shop on Riley Street.
Roseville
House of Oliver’s New Year's Eve Party!
House of Oliver, a wine bar and bistro located on Douglas Boulevard in Roseville, will hand patrons bubbles at the door with their purchase of a ticket.
Tickets are $35 at the door, and the main event from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. will also feature a DJ and saxophone playing.
Goldfield
The dance band, Neon Velvet, will ring in 2024 at Goldfield Roseville, located at 238 Vernon St. The restaurant said on social media the band will perform hits from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s. The event starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are available for roughly $38.
Onyx Club
DJ Stylo will perform at the Onyx Club’s New Year’s Eve party at 116 Main St.
Roseville Masonic Lodge
The Roseville DeMolay nonprofit organization will host the New Year’s Eve Party and Lock-In from Sunday at 8 p.m. until Jan. 1, 2024, at 7 a.m. at Roseville Masonic Lodge at 235 Vernon St.
There will be food, music, a midnight toast, a $5 video game tournament, a bake sale and a potato bar.
Opera House Saloon
Opera House Saloon on Lincoln Street will host its Hot Disco Nights New Year’s Eve Supershow starting at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets range from $28 to $33, and patrons are encouraged to wear their ’70s best.

FLB Entertainment
The FLB Entertainment bowling alley on East Bidwell Street in Folsom is open until midnight New Year’s Eve. Employees said there will be no outstanding celebration, but they plan for a simple toast at midnight.
Crystal Basin Station
The Crystal Basin Station wine bar on Sutter Street in Folsom will hold its regular hours from 12 to 5 p.m. on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Topgolf
Topgolf on Freedom Way in Roseville will be open for its regular hours and available for reservations New Year’s Eve, although there is no special party or celebration.
