A woman died after her husband stabbed her in Folsom, Folsom police reported Monday morning.
Justin Anthony Jesus, 28 of Orangevale was booked into the Sacramento County Jail on murder charges and domestic violence.
Folsom police said that officers received a 911 call about a fight in the front yard of a residence in the 100 block of Gallagher Court.
When officers arrived they found a woman who had been stabbed. She wa transported to Sutter Roseville hospital where she later died, Folsom police said.
The suspect was not at the scene when the officers arrived but he was eventually found hiding in the yard of a nearby residence.
He was later identified as the victim's husband, Folsom police said. The victim's name has not been released.
