Santa is getting ready to go around Folsom. Here are the routes

A first responder motorcade with ‘Santa’ in tow will help collect toys and canned goods for donation.

FOLSOM, Calif. — The Folsom Police Officers Association’s Santa sleigh routes will begin Sunday, Dec. 10.

Father Christmas will travel six different routes in seven days by first responder motorcade to gather toys and canned goods for donation, according to the FPOA website. Toys will go to the Folsom Police Department Toy Drive while canned and non-perishable food donations will go to Twin Lakes Food Bank.

Here's the schedule:

  • Dec. 10: Santa will hit the Los Cerros, Willow Springs, Prairie Oaks and Broadstone neighborhoods.
  • Dec. 12: The sleigh will visit Natoma Station, Cobble Ridge and Steeplechase.
  • Dec. 13: The motorcade will ride through Briggs Ranch, The Parkway and Willow Creek.
  • Dec. 14: Santa will pay Folsom Ranch a visit.
  • Dec. 15: First responders will guide Santa through the American River Canyon and Historic Folsom neighborhoods.
  • Dec. 16: Santa’s final ride through Folsom in 2023 will travel through Lexington Hills, Hillcrest and Empire Ranch.

The FPOA has hosted this event for roughly 40 years, according to the organization’s website.
