Folsom’s 'Wild Nights and Holiday Lights' returns to zoo

The event’s 13th annual celebration will run this Friday and Saturday, and Dec. 15-Dec. 22.

FOLSOM, Calif. — The Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary’s “Wild Nights and Holiday Lights” will host its second weekend of tours Friday and run through December, according to the city.

The event’s opening weekend began Dec. 1, according to the Folsom Parks and Recreation Facebook page. It continues to run from 5-8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, Saturday, Dec. 9 and from Dec. 15-22.

Patrons can see thousands of holiday lights, trees, ornaments, lighted animal figures, caroling groups, musicians and ride the Folsom Valley Railway miniature train, according to a city news release.

Event tickets are $10 per person, train tickets are $5 per person and children under 2 are free. Food and beverages are available for purchase from Fisher’s Beastro and visiting food trucks.

Tickets are only sold online, so there are no on-site ticket sales. You can buy tickets at the link HERE.

All proceeds from the event benefit the zoo sanctuary animals.
