ROSEMONT, Calif. — A girl was hospitalized with major injuries after being hit by an SUV in Rosemont Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, it happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Folsom Boulevard and Manlove Road.
CHP says a man was driving a Ford Escape eastbound on Folsom Boulevard when two girls began running in the crosswalk against a ‘Do Not Cross’ signal.
One of the girls was hit by the Escape and received major injuries. CHP says she was hospitalized and is expected to recover.
The driver of the Escape was not injured.
