It is goat snuggle season at a family farm in Connecticut

For the past decade, the Symans have held “Goat Snuggling Sessions” which continue in popularity year after year.

SALEM, Conn. — Co-owners Liz and Aaron Syman of Syman Says Farms have let their business go to the goats – at least during the spring and early summer season.

For the past decade, the Symans have held “Goat Snuggling Sessions” which continue in popularity year after year.

Aaron Syman, describing himself as "the goat guy," said, “there is this sense where we almost force you to slow down and it's turned therapeutic which we really didn’t expect -- in the beginning, it was more of an educational play.”

Liz Syman added, “People snuggle, just relax, take it all in and it’s a really good time.”

She noted that the farm starts "selling tickets in February and by the time the babies [goats] are born, the first month of our goat snuggle sessions are sold out.”

Syman Says Farms has built a strong following on social media and has a 24-hour live stream of their goat barn. Part of the reason Aaron Syman thinks so many people travel from all over the country is to see the goats on the farm in person.

“People come from all over the world, technically we have had Canada, California, Texas, Colorado – there are people who have turned it into their yearly vacation," Aaron Syman said.

Liz Syman noted, “We love our goats but its amazing to see how many people love our goats as well.”

Syman Says Farms' goat sessions typically run during April, May, and June. Adults are $25 for an hour and kids are $15. To learn more, click here.
