4-time Grammy Award-winning country singer to visit Folsom in 2025

Lyle Lovett plans to perform at Folsom Lake College’s Harris Center in February. He stops elsewhere in California in March.

FOLSOM, Calif. — Four-time Grammy Award-winning country artist Lyle Lovett is coming to Folsom next year.

Folsom Lake College’s Harris Center will host Lovett and his acoustic group at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025.

Lovett, 66, sings, composes and acts, according to the Harris Center. He is a Texas-based musician who fuses elements of country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues across a 14-album career.

His debut album was self-titled and released in 1986. He won his first Grammy in the best male country vocal performance category in 1990 at the 32nd Grammy Awards hosted by the late Garry Shandling. His most recent nomination came in November 2022 in the best Americana performance category for his feature in Asleep at the Wheel’s song “There You Go Again.”

A duet version of the popular song, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” featuring Lovett and Randy Newman plays during the credits of the 1995 Pixar film “Toy Story.”

Lovett’s most recent acting gig was portraying Texas ranger Major Waylon Gates in the 13th season of CBS’ “Blue Bloods” in 2023.

After Folsom, Lovett will stop to Vacaville. Tickets for his Vacaville performance go on sale at noon Aug. 13. Other California tour dates can be found HERE.
