DAVIS, Calif. — Six Davis restaurants will battle it out on Food Network to see who has the "Best Bite in Town."
It's part of a new show hosted by Guy Fieri. The first stop will have the Mayor of Flavortown dropping by the city of Davis.
As part of the show, Fieri's three judges will scour the city for the best bites in town. Each judge chooses two restaurants to visit, but only one dish to serve up for the showcase at Central Park. A panel of judges determines the winner.
According to Davis Farmers Market, three of their vendors will make an appearance on the show: Handheld Sweet & Savory Pies, The Hotdogger and Zumapoke. The other contestants are Hikari Sushi & Omakase, Sudwerk Brewing Co. and Tommy J's Grill.
The winner won't be announced until the show airs April 7 at 10 p.m. on Food Network. For more information, click HERE.
