YUBA CITY, Calif. — Two people died after a head on crash on Highway 99 near Yuba City.
CHP identified them as a 32-year-old man from Yuba City and a 46-year-old woman from Oroville.
Around 6:40 a.m., the man was driving a 1995 Toyota on northbound Highway 99 south of Oswald Road, and, on the other side of the highway, the woman was driving a 2016 Ford on southbound HW-99.
CHP said the man let the Toyota cross into the lanes of southbound HW-99 and directly into the path of the Ford.
Both drivers were killed from the head-on collision.
Police don't know if drug or alcohol impairment were a factor in the crash
