TURLOCK, Calif. — A campus supervisor for a Turlock elementary school was arrested on suspicion of child pornography-related charges.
Turlock Police Department said John Snoke, 42, was arrested Wednesday morning after they received a tip about child pornography distribution.
After an investigation, police identified who uploaded the images and contacted Snoke while serving a search warrant at his home.
Snoke was brought in for questioning and was then arrested without incident. He's facing separate charges of possession of child pornography and sending or selling obscene matter depicting a minor. Additional charges might be added once all of his electronic devices have been analyzed.
According to police, Snoke was employed as a campus supervisor at a local elementary school. Police don't believe any students were targeted but they are working to confirm that detail.
