SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man who walked into a Sacramento wing shop with a gunshot wound died from his injuries about a month after the shooting.
According to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office, 38-year-old Joseph Soto Jr. died Thursday.
He initially walked into a Wingstop on Florin Road with a gunshot wound to the chest February 24. At the time, he was expected to survive his injuries.
His death is now being investigated as a homicide and it’s still unclear where the shooting happened.
