SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif — Lake Tahoe's historic Camp Richardson Resort is welcoming a new lakeside dining restaurant Thursday, February 29 called The Grove. It's located at the former Beacon Bar & Grill location.
The upcoming opening comes after ExplorUS took over operations at Camp Richardson last month with plans for $12 million in improvements.
“Having dinner or drinks looking at Lake Tahoe is a quintessential experience at Camp Richardson,” said Camp Richardson general manager, Rob Henderson. “We are happy to welcome guests back with a new menu and updated and refreshed décor.”
The Grove's upcoming menu highlights include:
- Bison BBQ bacon burger
- Miso salmon entrée
- Fried chicken and beignets
- A dish with ricotta beignets, coleslaw, spicy agave and powdered sugar
- Signature cocktail choices
Lunch and dinner will be served daily at The Grove from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. A complete renovation of the restaurant is planned for the coming years, Henderson said.
