ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — The Haw River Police Department shared a public safety announcement on Facebook saying there is a large sinkhole in the Townbranch Road area.
The 1400 block of Townbranch Road (Graham Road heading into Graham) was closed due to the sinkhole Wednesday morning.
NC Department of Transportation has been aware of the situation. The police said the area is between Trollinger Road and Alamance Christian School.
Drivers are to find an alternate route.
