1 dead in Lodi shooting

The victim was described as a 28-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.

LODI, Calif. — One person is dead after a shooting in Lodi early Monday morning. 

According to Lodi Police Department, officers responded to the 100 block of East Pine Street after an alert from their gunshot recognition system, Raven, around 4:45 a.m. Police were also getting calls about a man down in the street.

Officers found a 28-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, but despite efforts from first responders, the man died at the scene.

He hasn't been identified at this time.

Police said the deadly shooting appears to have been an isolated incident.

The investigation is ongoing and no additional details were released. Anyone with information can call Lodi Police Department.
