The Federal Aviation Administration told ABC10 Thursday that they were "unable" to determine the cause of a Sept. 14 skydiving accident near Lodi Parachute Center.
"We finished investigating the Sept. 14 accident and were unable to conclusively determine the cause," said FAA spokesman Ian Gregor. "The skydiver was using his own parachute rig and wing suit."
Brett Hawton, 54, of Alamo, California, was critically injured in the skydiving accident near the center Sept. 14. He died a day later.
We reached out to Lodi Parachute Center for comment Thursday afternoon.
There have been at least 10 skydiving-related deaths related to the center since 2000.
