LODI, Calif. — A lockdown at Lodi High School was lifted Wednesday after police officers investigated an unknown alarm sound.
According to the Lodi Unified School District, students were placed on lockdown as a precaution. During the investigation, it was discovered an alarm at the school was accidentally hit by a staff member. There are no reported incidents at the school.
The lockdown comes as threats of violence have been sent to several schools around the nation, some as part of a social media trend.
