LODI, Calif. — A woman was hit and killed by a car in the Lodi area Sunday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported in the area of Highway 12 and Westgate Drive around 7:15 p.m. The woman ultimately died from her injuries.
Police said she was wearing dark clothing in a dark part of the road when she was hit, and that the driver is cooperating with the investigation.
The woman hasn't been identified at this time.
